Position Overview: Position may be Hybrid or Remote. Local residents will be expected to work in office a few days a week.
Pre-employment Requirements:
- We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.
Education Requirements:
- Must be a RN and/or graduate of an approved Health Information Management Program.
- Must be credentialed as RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CCDS, CDIP or RN (state of AL or multi-state compact).
Job Requirements:
- One year of CDI experience is required.
- 3-5 years Clinical or Coding/HIM experience required.
- Prefer experience with Quality Core Measures and PSI initiatives.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians and others for continued documentation improvement.
